In “Endless, Nameless” (2014), “Song X” (2017), and “Confusion Is Next” (2018), Thai filmmaker Pathompon Mont Tesprateep examines personal histories in hypnotic, intimate settings, evoking the past via phantasms, textures, and sounds that brush against the broader canvas of contemporary Thailand. As a featured filmmaker for this edition of M+ Screenings, Tesprateep discusses his practice in the context of the three other films he selected for the programme.
