Thai filmmaker Chulayarnnon Siriphol demonstrates the mysterious potential of filming the moving image in his short “Ghost Orb”. “Le Rayon Vert”—which was awarded the Golden Lion for Best Film at the Venice International Film Festival in 1986—Éric Rohmer gazes gently upon newly single Delphine (Marie Rivière), as her roving search for a companion seems as elusive as the purportedly magical light at sunset.
