Synopsis
Winner of Outstanding U.S. Narrative Feature Grand Jury Award for OUTFEST, Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival
Official Selection - Taipei Film Festival Winner of Outstanding U.S.

Camille (newcomer Rachelle Vinberg), an introverted teenage Skateboarder from Long Island, meets and befriends an all-girl, New York City-based skateboarding crew called Skate Kitchen. She falls in with the in-crowd, has a falling-out with her mother (Elizabeth Rodriguez), and falls for a mysterious skateboarder guy (Jaden Smith), but a relationship with him proves to be trickier to navigate than a kickflip. This film captures the experiences of these strong independent skillful skateboarding women in a very male-dominated space. They are totally in touch with their sexuality; bisexual, lesbian, gender-queer accepting Camille as she is even though her interest with the mysterious boy complicates her relationship with the crew.
Director
Crystal Moselle

Jaden Smith, Rachelle Vinberg, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Taylor Gray, Judah Lang, Thaddeus Daniels, Nina Moran, Kabrina Adams
