【The latest government regulations (Update: 19 May 2022)】
According to thePrevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business andPremises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), here are the latest arrangements:
- Upon entering the cinema, all patrons must wear a face mask (except when consuming food or drinks inside auditorium) and submit to a temperature check
- Alternate seating will beimplemented, and must be observed, at all screenings.
- “LeaveHomeSafe” mandatory at cinema
- Present the valid printedCOVID-19 vaccination record or Medical Exemption Certificate with QR code, orthe relevant QR code stored in the 'LeaveHomeSafe', “iAM Smart” or “eHealth” mobile application on their mobile devicefor scanning using the latest version of the “QR Code Verification Scanner”mobile application developed by the Government, upon entering the cinema.
“Vaccine Pass” requirements
Under the arrangements for the third stage of the Vaccine Pass (from 31 May 2022)
- persons aged 12 or above are required to receive three doses of COVID-19 vaccine to continue to use the Vaccine Pass. For those whose second dose was received within six months, their Vaccine Pass is still valid, but they must receive the third dose within six months after receiving the second dose.
All patrons are required to present their printed COVID-19 vaccination record or MedicalExemption Certificate with QR code, or the relevant QR code stored in the'LeaveHomeSafe', “iAM Smart” or “eHealth” mobile application on their mobiledevice for scanning using the latest version of the “QR Code VerificationScanner” mobile application developed by the Government, upon entering thecinema.
For patrons exempted from the “Vaccine Pass” requirements, please indicate their exemptionand produce the relevant proof as required. If patrons are unable to presenttheir COVID-19 vaccination record, Medical Exemption Certificates or otherexemption proof, our cast members may refuse their entry to the specifiedpremises.

“LeaveHomeSafe” mandatory at cinema
Patrons mustscan the 'LeaveHomeSafe' venue QR code using the LHS mobile application(www.leavehomesafe.gov.hk) before entering the cinema.
The followingthree categories of persons may fill in a specified formas an alternative to the use of the LHS mobileapplication:
- persons aged 65 or above and aged 15 orbelow;
- persons with disability; and
- other persons recognised by theGovernment or organisation(s) authorised by the Government.
For persons aged15 or below, he or she would not have to register his or her personalinformation using the specified form if he or she is accompanied by an adultwho has complied with the LHS requirement (i.e. he or she has used the LHSmobile application or used the specified form to register relevant informationas an alternative in accordance with the requirement).
Our cinemasreserve the right to refuse entry or remove patrons from the premises, or stopthe screening, in the following circumstances:
i. Patronregisters body temperature higher than 37.5°C, or
ii. Patron is notwearing a face mask, or removes mask during screening, or
iii. Patron failsto make admission record, or
iv. Patron is notsitting in their assigned seat, corresponding to their ticket, or
v. Patron iswearing a government-issued home quarantine wristband, or
vi. Patron fails to meet requirements of Vaccine Pass
